Sell it out from under your rival's nose for a quick profit or place your own tenant inside it for long-term gain. Of course, if you're not so interested in what the property can do for you but more about what it can do to your rival then simply let it fall into disrepair. Soon enough it'll become infested and eventually explode... hopefully taking out a few of your rival's men or properties with it!CRIME IS YOUR GREATEST TOOL.If all else fails, call in the Mob… Send your Gangsters around to take out your rival's most important properties, or hit their people to thin their ranks before you move in for the finishing blow. The more they kill the better the weapons your Gangsters will be able to access including but not limited to pistols and the devastating laser! A force to be reckoned with if ever there was one.Of course, if you've got cold feet and dealing with the Mob isn't your cup of tea you can also hire the services of various undesirables to do your bidding. Show your rival's just how much you really care by sending Mr Fixit over to provide 'assistance' with one of your rival's properties. If you'd prefer to just watch the carnage unfold send the happy-go-lucky chainsaw wielding Psycho over to carve up your rival's investments, and maybe just about anyone who tries to stop him! Just watch that whilst all this is happening that you don't forget about the latest nagging from the Council or it might just be closing time... for good!Just when you thought you'd earned yourself a tea break... Boom! The Council are on your back about some issue or another, and if you don't keep them happy you'll either lose some of your hard-earned investment properties or risk being closed down. Permanently. Keep them happy, though, and you'll be rewarded with special marks that can be sold for a quick cash injection, or as a way of staying in good with the Council as you proceed to ignore every one of your tenant's incessant demands. Treat your tenants well, though. In Constructor they're not only your most important form of income, you're going to need them if you want to breed additional children to one day join your workforce. For instance, Build a park with at least 6 trees and a pond or lose the game entirely.... seems a bit stupid to me. Sadly, there seems to be an issue found on the PC demo for Windows 7 fans. The game is calling for a function only found is OS Windows 8 and beyond which is CreateFile2 and Kernal32.dll. On some Windows 10 machines there was an issue with a packaging file. Both issues are being addressed and a fix will be automatcically updated on Steam shortly. Whist every update then can cause other issues the game does run on Windows 7 and the game code has passed an external independent QA team used by many industry games conpanies. We think the issue occurred on a feature update to the game that was put into the code last minute. We had thought of pulling the demo after the issue was found but as it did not effect all users we felt putting the demo live was still the best thing to do. We are very sorry for the problems fans with Windows 7 have had and this issue will be fixed shortly. A few fans have also found that the scroll at the edge of a 3 monitor set up does not scroll smoothly but if played on just a one monitor with the same machine set up it does. If you do not wish to use it then you may opt-out by doing the following:1. Right-click Constructor in your Steam Library and click "Properties"2. Click the "Updates" tab3. Look for the Steam Cloud section at the bottom of the window and click to disable the check-box if it is already checked by default.4. You may now close the window and Constructor will not back up your saves to the cloud.We apologise for the delay, but we hope that you will understand why it was necessary to do so. As soon as we are satisfied that it is in good order again we will make it live for everyone! :)Kindly,System 3. DEMO UPDATE TO OUR FANS: 1. When the game first became visible on Steam, the executable Constructor.exe did not go live at the same time. However, this was corrected within a couple of hours and therefore should no longer be an issue.2. We have had numerous accounts of anti-virus programs giving a false positive virus warning on the executable Constructor.exe – as a result some anti-virus programs such as Bullguard and Windows Defender have been putting the executable into quarantine. For example with Bullguard, even telling it that it is a false positive does not prevent the program quarantining it again later. If this is a problem and the executable keeps disappearing, the best way is to configure your anti-virus so that excludes the Constructor.exe from being checked.3. There was a fault with the packaging of the game whereby it did not configure DirectX and Visual C correctly. This has been corrected and hopefully this will have resolved many of the Windows 10 problems. However, we are unsure whether all of the changes will take place automatically. It may require uninstalling and re-installing.4. A last minute addition to the game added a system call to CreateFile2 which caused problems on Windows 7 machines. We are currently attempting a workaround. We are about to update the game which will hopefully resolve the problem although there are other more complex issues which may need to be addressed.This will not been done until Wednesday.5. There are a number of issues surrounding multiple monitors or people with very high resolution displays which will be addressed in the coming week.We will be implementing the ability to define the full screen size in the coming days too..
